Healthy nutrition for kids brownies

Nutrition is one of the most important parts of creating a superstar athlete, human, and student. If you feed them crap then you will get crap out.

Notice I said ‘creating’ an athlete that will be a superstar. Superstars are not born. Some are born with natural ability, but the ones that excel in Hilliard Sports whether it be football, baseball, softball, soccer, tennis, wrestling, lacrosse, or basketball……are the ones that put in the work in terms of their strength and nutrition.

This recipe is a great alternative to the crappy, blood sugar raising, insulin-spiking brownies that you find pretty much everywhere. No high fructose corn syrup, no added sugar, no wheat, no flour, no corn…….can’t beat that 🙂 Introducing the Athletic Revolution-Hilliard Healthy Brownie!


Fudgy Protein Brownie:

Ingredients:

-6 tbsp coconut oil

-2 tbsp EVOO

-3/4 cup coconut flour

-1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

– 1 cup Erythritol

-2 tsp vanilla extract

-1 scoop chocolate grass fed whey protein

-1/4 cup coconut milk

-3 eggs

-1/2 tsp himalayan salt

-1/2 tsp baking soda


Directions:

Melt coconut oil

grease pan olive oil

Cool coconut oil

Combine all ingredients except coconut oil

Once coconut oil is cooled, add into ingredients and mix all together.

Add to brownie pan

Bake 353 degrees for 25 minutes



Macros: serves 8

229 calories

19 grams fat

9 carbs (5 fiber: 4 net carbs)

7 protein
