I’ve recently been doing some training vlog videos up on my youtube channel. So I thought I would include it here on the blog as well. I’ll alternate the blogs I add this up onto.

We never recommend someone starting off train more then 3 times a week (with our type of Athletic Revolution-Hilliard workouts- strength and conditioning), at least until the body is acclimated and that initial  soreness has passed.

I have built up to training this way. I’ve been training regularity since 1992. The only extended breaks I’ve taken was 3 months (wrist injury), 10 days (wrist injury), and 9 months (Back injury and sciatica). I mention this not to impress you, but to impress upon you the idea that fitness is a lifestyle. It’s not something you do because you want to lose weight or get in shape. It’s something you do because your body, mind and spirit know that you can’t be your best self without it.

There is never an off-season for strength and conditioning. Your child will either get better then the competition or get dominated by the ones that do the have strength coaches. BUT is your strength coach qualified or are they even a strength coach. Check out this blog post.

If there is one thing that you can start today that can prevent you from becoming a weaker version of you in terms of your physical, you’re mental, and your emotional self and then that one thing is training your body.

Because when you push your body to a new limit , when you push your body to change the shape of it you then hold your destiny in your hands. It builds the physical strength, but it also builds the mental strength. The mental fortitude. The mental toughness.

If you are not mentally tough you will not be able to push through when life comes at you. And it comes at everybody. You are either just getting out of a problem, just heading towards one, or you are in one. Train your mind, and train your body! Become the ultimate you today💪🏽💪🏽
